The WASTELESS consortium is searching for external experts interested in the evaluation of the tools and methodologies (T&Ms) developed within the project for the measurement and monitoring of food waste (FW) generated in different stages of the food supply chain (FSC).

The contribution provided by external experts is aimed to identify any necessary and precise changes or modifications for T&Ms, while avoiding disruptive changes which may compromise the correct functionality and the achievement of the objectives.

The external assessment is supported by a framework developed in line with the JRC report ‘Assessment of food waste prevention actions’, to evaluate the efficacy and the efficiency of different T&Ms. It is possible to decide to participate in the evaluation of one or more T&Ms.

The participation may provide an important contribution in the identification of aimed interventions to increase the success of WASTELESS T&Ms, increasing the prevention and reduction of FW in the whole FSC.

It is possible to contact the responsible partner (WIISE), sending an e-mail to res@wiise.net.  The assessment report template will be shared, with all the relevant information for each T&M, including dedicated supporting material (e.g. presentations, videos, manuals).

More details are also reported in a dedicated article written by WIISE in their platform Great Italian Food Trade (GIFT).
