EFFoST2025 will explore the theme ‘Fostering the Transition to Sustainable Food Systems: Embracing Novelty and Overcoming Challenges’ – Conference Programme
The special session, titled “Integrated Approaches to Food Loss and Waste Prevention and Reduction: Tools for Sustainable System Design and Impact Assessment,” will highlight how combining technological, behavioural, and policy perspectives can foster transformative change in food systems.
The special session will open with a keynote address by Rosalinda Scalia, Deputy of the European Commission, followed by presentations from the participating projects. The event will conclude with a roundtable discussion exploring synergies across initiatives and their implications for future research, policymaking, and multi-stakeholder collaboration.
