Food Waste Free United, in partnership with the European Commission and other public authorities, is organising an international conference with the aim to bring together representatives from companies, public- and scientific organizations, and civil society with high ambitions of halving food waste by 2030.
Under the title “Towards halving food waste in Europe”, the programme of the conference, which will be organised in Veghel (Noord-Brabant, Netherlands), includes two full days of conferences and breakout sessions dedicated to best practices, food losses and waste monitoring, food donation, consumer activation, and waste-free field trip amongst others.
In addition to the public programme, the European Commission will also organise the 15th meeting of the EU Platform on Food Losses and Food Waste on the second day of the conference.
