WASTELESS Round Table on Policy Recommendations for Food Loss and Waste Reduction

The WASTELESS project is organising an online roundtable discussion on 31 March 2026, bringing together food loss and waste experts, representatives of EU-funded projects, and European and national policymakers to discuss policy recommendations based on WASTELESS results.

The roundtable will focus on translating the project’s evidence and tools into actionable recommendations aimed at strengthening food loss and waste measurement, monitoring, and reduction strategies across the European Union.

Target Audience

The roundtable is designed for:

  • FLW experts and researchers
  • National policymakers and public authorities
  • Stakeholders involved in food systems governance
  • Coordinators and partners of related EU-funded projects
  • Representatives of European institutions

A Collaborative Approach to Achieving 2030 Targets

This roundtable aims to foster dialogue, encourage alignment, and support the practical uptake of research-based recommendations into policy frameworks and national strategies.
