ROSETTA is a Horizon Europe project working to reduce and prevent food waste by improving market access for foods that fall outside conventional marketing standards but are still safe to consume. Through real-life use cases, the project explores how these standards contribute to waste along the supply chain and tests practical solutions to repurpose or redistribute suboptimal foods. By engaging diverse stakeholders across the food system, ROSETTA delivers actionable insights and policy recommendations to support more sustainable, inclusive, and efficient food systems across Europe.
